Mission

Hampton Roads Center for Fibroid Embolization is the premier Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) provider in Eastern Virginia. We’re committed to providing excellent treatment, leading to patient and referring physician satisfaction.

History of UFE at the Center

Dr. Cockerill performed the first UFE at Hampton Roads in July 1998. Since then, hundreds of other women have been successfully treated. In January 2000, the Center was founded, concentrating expertise and resources, to further promote UFE development at Hampton Roads.

Commitment

We are committed to providing personalized, high-quality care to every patient. We partner with you and your gynecologist to identify your best treatment option. If you choose UFE, we’ll walk you through our Five Step Process. If you’re not an appropriate UFE candidate, we’ll help you find another therapy.
